Bugle-Tip™
MIS Suction Device
Atraumatic retraction
and aspiration are achieved through the flared tip and multiple
suction ports. To avoid stressing the dura small suction ports
are located just above the flared tip to provide suction even while
the distal port and flange are being used to manipulate tissue.
The Bugle-Tip's™
erogonomic design provides a large gripping surface, a handle to
suction-tube angle that accommodates common gripping techniques
and a blackened tube to avoid reflection of the intense lighting
required at the operative site.

Currently marketed small
diameter suction devices are neither rigorous enough, nor shaped
in a manner to assist the spine surgeon working with minimal exposure.
Further, manipulating anatomy with conventional "straight-pipe"
tips can increase the potential for injury to the dura. Even
a small nick can cost a surgical team 30 minutes or more of operative
time.
